Institutional Landscape Feature Project

LANDSCAPE DESIGN AND INSTALLATION

Reedsburg - Senior Living

The landscaping created a peaceful living space for the community of seniors at this Reedsburg facility.  The plant material used provides substantial foliage, color and substance.

The roadside entrance welcomes you to the campus with a row of beautiful freeman maples.  At the main doors entrance signs greet you that are surrounded by plants with seasonal interests

Large community spaces were created for seniors to socialize and relax with each other.  Sidewalks and pathways throughout the grounds connect all of the wings of the building, providing an easy way for residents to get around.

The inside of the care center brought its own distinct characteristic to each wing of the building.  So to replicate the inside of the building, the landscaping was unique in every nook and cranny.  Each area was defined by the additional touches from the seniors living in the care center.

Areas to collect storm water runoff and other natural low spots onsite were perfect places to install rain gardens.  The Wisconsin native perennials and grasses used will attract birds, butterflies and other insects that may bring entertainment to the tenants.
